In the spirit of staying home and staying safe, we are putting together some environmental education resource that we hope will be enjoyable for you at home. Check out what we’re doing below:

  • AFC’s free field trip program has always been a great way to introduce students to natural open space. With all our field trips for the remainder of the school year cancelled, we decided to create a virtual field trip so that we could continue to share this natural open space with you at home. Click here to join us on our virtual tour of the native plants on the Rosemont Preserve. Feel free to also check out our field trip web page for more information and some helpful resources.
  • We have put together a collection of some of our favorite wildlife videos, and we hope that it brings you some comfort and happiness during this time. Click here to take a break with our wild friends.
  • AFC is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! Over the past 20 years we have worked diligently to preserve land and restore habitat for wildlife and for our community, and we look forward to continuing to protect and appreciate these beautiful open spaces in the years to come. We have many exciting programs lined up to celebrate our anniversary and we’re looking forward to sharing them with you as soon as timing and public health conditions allow! Take a look:
