Artist Talk with Joe Rohde
September 17, 2023 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Living in a Wildlife Corridor Artist Talk Series
As a former Disney Imagineer, Joe Rohde was pivotal in developing a series of projects focusing on natural history, culture, and the environment. His paintings on view at Living in a Wildlife Corridor portray the area devastated by the La Tuna Fire, which began September 1, 2017 and burned 7,194 acres through the Verdugo Mountains in Los Angeles.
Come hear Joe talk about his artistic process and how he finds beauty in the natural cycle of life and death. In addition to discussing his work on view at Living in a Wildlife Corridor, Joe will be sharing other pieces from the same series which have not been publicly exhibited.
