Take part in the City Nature Challenge, an international effort to document nature in cities around the world! Join AFC staff at 9 AM at the Rubio Canyon Trailhead for an orientation to iNaturalist and some guidelines on what to look for.

Pro Tip: Download the iNaturalist app on your phone and make an account prior to this event!

After exploring Rubio Canyon, you will have the tools to explore your yard, local park, street trees, and other nature around your neighborhood! Photos are collected between April 29-May 2.

Photos taken during the CNC are identified May 3-8, and results are announced May 9!
