Join AFC at the Sycamore Preserve in Glendale! Help restore habitat, removing invasive plants and making room for native ones.

We are asking that all volunteers please wear PPE when attending restoration events this month. This includes a face mask or respirator (KN95 or higher), gloves, eye protection, a long-sleeved shirt, pants, and sturdy shoes.

Our tools stored at Rubio Canyon were unfortunately destroyed in the Eaton Fire. If you have loppers, pruners, trowels, mattocks, round or flat shovels, and hard rakes that you can bring please do so. Additionally, if you have tools you are able to donate to us at this time please reach out to Tim at [email protected] – your support is greatly appreciated.

Directions to Sycamore Canyon Preserve:

• Glendale freeway (2) North or South and Ventura (134) freeway East – exit Holly Drive
• Head west on Holly
• Turn right on Harvey Drive
• Turn right on East Chevy Chase Drive
• Sycamore Canyon is 1.5 miles up at approximately 2833 East Chevy Chase Drive
