Wildlife Corridor Education Series: Pollinator Power
June 24, 2023 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm
We all know that pollinators are very important to the reproduction of our flowering plants, including many of the food plants we consume. Also, that pollinators exist in a myriad of types, far beyond the introduced European Honeybee. We also know that wildlife corridors are critical to connect geographic zones of natural open space as movement pathways to maintain gene flow and diversity of living things.
This panel will discuss the many types of pollinators that visit flowering plants. They will also address just how important they are and how corridors may help these pollinators as part of the connectivity and a diverse ecosystem.
