Join us on Saturday, February 23rd 9am-11am, with FormLA Landscaping President, Cassy Aoyagi, for a tour at the Rosemont Preserve to discuss several topics.  The topics Miss Aoyagi will be discussing include “10 qualities of a fire wise landscape“, “why spaces like Rosemont Preserve are critical to LA’s safety and resilience”, and the “ways in which the Preserve has been renovated to support nearby homeowners”.

Miss Aoyagi will also lead a tour of the space, recently re-wilded with fire-wise foliage. She’ll talk about combustible foliage to avoid and answer attendee questions about the preserve and applying the 10 fire-wise qualities to their own gardens.

Due to limited parking at the Preserve, please park at Two Strike Park at 5107 Rosemont Ave: map. Wear sturdy shoes to walk the trail and bring a hat and water if it’s hot. Rain Cancels all events. If you have any questions feel free to contact us at [email protected].

If you are looking to restore a slope or simply make your garden and LA more resilient, this is a great opportunity to see what can be accomplished. We hope to see you there!
