California Conservation Corps

AFC is proud to call the California Conservation Corps a partner. The oldest and largest conservation corps in the country, the CCC employs young men and women in improving the state’s natural resources and responding to disasters. The audio slideshow above documents the CCC’s efforts in restoring habitat and building trails on land preserved by AFC in Altadena’s Rubio Canyon. They have also worked in AFC’s Millard Canyon in Altadena, Cottonwood Canyon in Pasadena and the Rosemont Preserve in La Crescenta.
