We’re celebrating AFC’s purchase of 13 fantastic acres in Millard Canyon.  Thanks to the hard work and generosity of many the land will never be developed, will always be protected as wilderness for birds and wildlife, and will be available as a local resource.

Please join us on Sunday afternoon, October 27th to congratulate one another on this remarkable accomplishment.  You can help restore the habitat, enjoy a docent-led hike up Millard Creek or just join the party!  At 3:30 we’ll share plans for the canyon and you’ll learn about our newest land project!  All are welcome.  Light refreshments will be served.

Millard Canyon Celebration Schedule:

  • 12:00 p.m.:  Habitat Restoration (RSVP to: [email protected]).  Park at Loma Alta Park
  • 1:00 p.m.:  Docent-Led Tours (please wear sturdy shoes, long sleeves and long pants).  Park at Loma Alta Park.
