The Crescenta Valley Town Council has decided to support AFC’s bid to preserve a key parcel of open space in La Crescenta.

The council sent a letter to Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich on Friday, Oct. 21, requesting that the Board of Supervisors help to fund the project to preserve 7.75 acres at the top of Rosemont Avenue.

“The AFC has made significant outreach into the community with regard to the purchase for the purpose of preserving this parcel as open space,” council President Cheryl Davis writes in the letter. “The proposal has received overwhelmingly positive responses within the community especially from neighbors surrounding the site.”

Thanks to all who have been involved so far in this process. If you’d like to add your support to the project, email [email protected] with your letter, and we’ll forward it to the supervisor’s office.
