Discover the remarkable restoration efforts that transformed this open space into a sanctuary for wildlife and a precious community resource. Hear about the work of the Friends since the property was acquired by AFC in 2012 and the Preserve’s role as a critical wildlife corridor. Along the way, you’ll learn about local history, native plant ecosystems, and the importance of this space for community connection.
The Preserve is located in La Crescenta at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. Parking is available at Two Strike Park, 5107 Rosemont Ave, where bathrooms are located.
