Register for AFC’s Field Trip Docent Training Series at the Rosemont Preserve in La Crescenta! Led by local experts, our trainings are an opportunity to become knowledgeable on the native plants, geology, and bird species of our region. With these skills, you can help connect youth to nature by guiding field trips for K-12 students from all over LA County throughout the school year!
Field trips take place at Rosemont Preserve from September through June, on Wednesday to Friday mornings, and last approximately 1.5 hours. To participate as a docent, volunteers should have general availability during this time frame and are asked to lead a minimum of four trips over the course of the school year.
