In the past year, thanks to the hard work of many volunteers, the Friends of Rubio Canyon, and especially the Rubio Canyon Trail Crew, AFC achieved a major milestone! You may have read about how we have closed the missing link of the Altadena Crest Trail, so for the first time in modern history you can walk the from Eaton Canyon to the top of Lake Avenue without ever stepping foot on a road.

Join Rubio Canyon Trail Boss, Sean Green, in exploration of this trail system. You’ll experience Rubio’s natural beauty, as well as ruins of the historical Mt. Lowe railway.
