Sycamore Canyon is a ten-acre block of land in the San Rafael Hills, just west of East Chevy Chase Drive, a major street bisecting the San Rafael Hills with almost continuous residential development on both sides. Chevy Chase obstructs wildlife passage through the San Rafaels — places for crossings are few, making Sycamore Canyon a critical wildlife corridor.

Join AFC’s Land Manager, Tim Martinez on a tour of Sycamore Canyon and the surrounding neighborhood to see these Chevy Chase wildlife crossings and better understand how wildlife move throughout the area.
